About
Language That Bridges Worlds
I'm a native English speaker based in Casablanca with the editorial background, regional expertise, and professional network to deliver English-language work that truly lands.

Casablanca, Morocco
My Story
I came to Morocco with a degree from the University of Oregon and five years of living and working in China already behind me — carrying a belief that language, used precisely and thoughtfully, is one of the most powerful tools a business or editor can wield. What I found here was a country full of ambition, complexity, and stories that weren't reaching the world in English.
Working with TelQuel English gave me an editorial education no university could replicate. I learned to translate not just words, but ideas: political, cultural, and economic. A French-reading audience in Casablanca and an English-reading audience in New York needed to reach the same understanding without losing the original meaning.
Over time, I expanded beyond editorial translation. Moroccan companies began asking for help with investor communications, reports, and marketing materials. Embassies and NGOs needed reliable editorial partners. English-speaking executives arriving in Morocco needed a guide who understood both worlds.
Writing a novel deepened all of that. It forced a discipline with words: an insistence on the right sentence, not just an acceptable one. That carries into every professional project.
Nielson English is the professional home for all of that work. A focused, one-on-one service for clients who take their English seriously.
Forthcoming Fiction
The Cost of Revenge
Book One of The Price of Power Chronicles
Writing a novel is the most rigorous editorial exercise there is. Every scene, sentence, and word must earn its place. That discipline shapes my professional work in ways a purely academic background cannot.
When I translate or edit your communications, I bring the same insistence on clarity, rhythm, and precision that long-form fiction demands.
